Hagane no Renkin Jutsushi's DVD and Blu-Ray Disc to be released in Aug

The first volume of the DVD and Blu-Ray Disc (BD) version of "Hagane no Renkin Jutsushi" will be released on 26 August 09 together. The series began its run in April 09 and will contain 2 episodes. In addition, there will be a short original episode titled "The Blind Alchemist" included. This story was published in 2005 as a side-story to "Hagane no Renkin Jutsushi" and features a journey by the Elric brothers to find an alchemist who performed the human body alchemy with the exchange of his eyes. The items are produced by Aniplex and are sold at the prices of 3,990 yen (DVD) and 4,935 yen (BD). Both the first press and normal press editions will be sold at the same price. For the first press versions, there will be animations of the 4-column short comic strips by Arakawa Hiromu previously published in the manga. There will also be a 16-page booklet titled "ALCHEMIST'S LOG" included in the package.

Higashi no Eden's DVD and Blu-Ray Disc to be released

Higashi no Eden will be releasing the first volume of its DVD as well as its Blu-Ray Disc soon. The first volume containing Ep 1 and 2 is due to be sold on 29 July 09 and the remaining 4 volumes will be sold monthly until Nov which is when the movie version is due to be screened. This is also the first time that the Blu-Ray Disc version is sold at the same time as the normal DVD series for a Noitamina production.

There will be a original drama CD titled "Higashi no Eden EDEN OF THE EAST Ep 0 Souen-hen" included in the Blu-Ray Disc version. The special booklet also includes a short story and interviews with the director. The Blu-Ray disc version costs 6,300 yen while the DVD costs 5,250 yen. These are produced by Asmik & FujiTV and distributed by Kadokawa Entertainment.
