"Genji Monogatari" written by Heian period writer, Murasaki Shikibe, will be made into an anime and shown in the FujiTV anime slot, Noitamina from Jan 09. This is in conjunction with the 1000th anniversary of "Genji Monogatari". At the moment, it has been decided that there will be a total of 11 episodes.Official website: here
