"Eden of the East" which is due to be shown from April 09 in FujiTV's Noitamina slot, will have a movie version after the end of the TV series. The series is produced by production I.G. and features Umino Chika, the author of Hachimitsu to Clover as the designer of the characters.The story of this anime starts on 22 Nov 2010 where Japan goes through a mysterious terrorist missle attack without a single casualty. 3 months later, the story will alternate between Japan and America where Morimi Saki, a girl who goes on a graduation trip to America and meets a young man Takizawa Akira who saves her. Misaki later finds out that Akira has lost his memory and the special handphone he holds will hold the key to his true identity and past.

Is it just me who is seeing Morita with Hagu in the above poster instead of Morimi Saki and Takizawa Akira? Maybe it's because Umino Chika is the one drawing these characters so the resemblance is simply striking...
