Higashi no Eden will be releasing the first volume of its DVD as well as its Blu-Ray Disc soon. The first volume containing Ep 1 and 2 is due to be sold on 29 July 09 and the remaining 4 volumes will be sold monthly until Nov which is when the movie version is due to be screened. This is also the first time that the Blu-Ray Disc version is sold at the same time as the normal DVD series for a Noitamina production.There will be a original drama CD titled "Higashi no Eden EDEN OF THE EAST Ep 0 Souen-hen" included in the Blu-Ray Disc version. The special booklet also includes a short story and interviews with the director. The Blu-Ray disc version costs 6,300 yen while the DVD costs 5,250 yen. These are produced by Asmik & FujiTV and distributed by Kadokawa Entertainment.
